Thomas Ware & Sons, established in 1840 in Bristol, England, is a historic tannery known for its high-quality leather used globally.

Their bridle leather is vegetable-tanned and they undergo a 10-week waxing process, which enhances the leather's durability.

The white powder on the surface, known as "bloom," is a layer of protective wax and a hallmark of fine bridle leather highly prized by leather connoisseurs.
