Sourced from a small French town of Mazamet, the goat leather used is soft, stronger than cow hide and water-resistant due to the natural lanolin (grease) in the leather. It is also harder for dirt to penetrate as easily as the other leathers. The grainy and pebble-like texture of the wallet is not only distinctive of goat leather, it also hides micro scratches well. Think low maintenance.
