Fukuoka 福岡県 is famous for its woven kasuri 絣 fabrics. Many craftsmen in the city have used the same wooden looms and weaving techniques for generations. Their methods create a unique patterning and texture that differs on each side of the fabric.
Kasuri, a traditional Japanese fabric, derived from the word “kasureru” meaning “blurred,” is created using individually dyed threads that are skillfully woven into the patterns you see here. So wear something unique in your pocket!
The pocket square fabric is sourced and imported from Japanese heritage manufacturer. Each pocket square is stitched folded, pressed and package in Portland, Oregon.
