The classic American bandana first popularized by Hollywood cowboys was originally influenced by Indian textiles, patterns, and dyeing methods. The Tsurukame pattern is made to look like American-style bandanas but a close-up shows many tiny Japanese symbols. The cranes (tsuru) and tortoises (kame) are popular symbols for good fortune and long life.
Wear it with the antiqued pin or leather cuff (sold separately). Or if you like, use it a cravat too!
